Evaluation Services

A comprehensive evaluation is the first step in developing an individualized treatment plan for your child.

Comprehensive Speech or Feeding Evaluation: $275

Evaluations include:

• Parent interview
• Review of medical and developmental history
• Clinical observation
• Standardized assessments (when appropriate)
• Written report with recommendations
• Personalized treatment plan
• Therapy Services

Individual Therapy Session (45 minutes): $125

Each therapy session is individualized to your child's specific needs and may include:

• Direct therapy
• Parent coaching
• Home recommendations
• Progress monitoring
• Collaboration with other providers when appropriate

Parent Coaching Session (45 minutes): $110.00

Sometimes the best way to help a child is by empowering the ones who know them best—their parents. Unlike therapy sessions that focus on direct treatment with your child, parent coaching centers on helping you build the confidence and skills to support your child's communication, feeding, and development at home. Sessions include:

• One-on-one virtual consultation with the parent/caregiver
• Individualized strategies and education
• Opportunity to review videos of the child (submitted in advance, if applicable)
• Personalized written action plan emailed after the session

School-Based Services

School consultation and contract services are customized to meet the needs of each district.

Custom Therapy Packages

Every child and family is unique. For families seeking ongoing support, personalized therapy and parent coaching packages are available. Packages may combine therapy sessions, parent coaching, home program development, video review, and follow-up support to provide comprehensive care at a discounted rate compared to individual sessions.

Package recommendations are discussed after the initial evaluation based on your child's needs and your family's goals.

Payment

Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements have been made.

We accept secure online payments through Stripe using major credit and debit cards.

Invoices and receipts are provided electronically.

Insurance

1st Foundations Pediatric Therapy is a private-pay practice and is considered an out-of-network provider.

Private Pay = Personalized Care

By operating as a private-pay practice, we can focus on your child's individual needs rather than insurance limitations, allowing for flexible treatment planning and more personalized care.

Upon request, we are happy to provide a superbill that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because every insurance plan is different, we encourage you to contact your insurance provider regarding your specific out-of-network benefits.

Payment to 1st Foundations Pediatric Therapy is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian regardless of insurance reimbursement.

Health Savings Accounts (HSA) & Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)

Many families use Health Savings Accounts (HSA) or Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) to pay for speech-language pathology and feeding therapy services. We recommend checking with your plan administrator to confirm your individual eligibility and coverage.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that schedules change. If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide at least 24 hours' notice.

Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or missed without notice, may be subject to the full session fee, as outlined in our Financial Agreement.
